South Korean president Moon’s controversial bitcoin payments to North Korea faces even more petitions
Since November 2017, President Moon Jae-In’s controversial financing of North Korea using bitcoin has been stirring up rumors in South Korean public. On February 1st 2018, an angry supporter of Moon Jae-In has started a petition against the claim that President Moon is not involved in anyway with bitcoin or concurrency to support North Korea. The claim was first made on Youtube Channel called “글로벌 디팬스 뉴스” by Professor Kim Jung-Min. According to Professor Kim Jung-Min, President Moon’s regime which is very Pro-North Korean has been financially supporting North Korea via bitcoin as a means to counter UN’s tougher economic sanctions against North Korea which began since 2017.;
Since January 2018, there are about seven petitions on South Korea’s website against either President Moon’s bitcoin demanding an investigation or the claim that Professor Kim Jung Min has been making about the case. Here is a list of petitions related to Moon’s bitcoin payment to North Korea:
Despite the ongoing petitions and accusations made against President Moon Jae-In regarding bitcoin story, his regime has not made an official announcement on the petitions.
